What looks red all over and has a long tongue and tail, a pair of horns on his head and holds a huge fork? This creature is very bad that’s why he was banished to a very hot place called hell. The Devil has always been depicted as a creature looking like this. Any of the description above was probably how these plants get their names.

Devil’s weed

The devil’s weed or datura stramonium plant. The tropane alkaloids in the plant can cause powerful visual and audio hullucinations in those who eat it and leave them in a trance-like or delirious state which can last for several days. The plant can also cause seizures and death.

Devil’s ivy

Also known as the Golden Pothos and scientifically termed as Epipiremnum Aureum, the Devil’s ivy is a beautiful vine plant with leaves that are marbled and golden in color as per the name. Even if this plant is not taken care off, it thrives on and continues growing. This plant acts as an excellent natural anti-pollutant against common pollutants like benzene, formaldehyde and carbon monoxide. However, you should take care that this plant is not ingested in any way even by your own pet dog.

Devil’s Tongue

Also known as konjak, konjaku, voodoo lily, snake palm, or elephant yam, is a perennial plant that has been used in China and Japan for over 2,000 years. The starchy tuber, a member of the yam family, is not unlike taro, hence its Chinese name mo yu, which means ‘devil’s taro’. In Japan it is known as ‘devil’s tongue’ or konnyaku. Through a complicated process similar to the making of tofu, the large brown roots are peeled, boiled, mashed and then mixed with dissolved limestone to coagulate.

Devil’s Club

Also called Devil’s walking stick and for good reason…the plant is covered with sharp spiny thorns. Also called Echinopanax horridum. It is in the Araliaceae (or Aralia) family and very closely related to Ginsing. The berries are poisonous but have been used to kill lice by mashing them up and applying the paste to the hair. This also treats dandruff and makes the hair shiny.

Devil’s Beggar-tick

Devil’s Beggar-tick is one of several species of beggar-tick, plants with seeds that “hitch a ride” on animals and clothing. Each fruit is loaded with tiny flat seeds. Each seed has two barbs (like a fishhook) which will catch on anything soft that brushes against it. Most often seeds grab onto animal fur or a person’s clothing. Because of the plant’s height, people usually end up picking seeds, sometimes called “hitchhikers,” from their socks. Seeds are also eaten by ducks and other birds.

Creeping Devil

Creeping Devil (Stenocereus eruca) is one of the most distinctive cacti, a member of the relatively small genus Stenocereus. Creeping Devil lies on the ground and grows at one end while the other end slowly dies, with a succession of new roots developing on the underside of the stem. This traveling chain of growth gives rise to the name eruca, which means “caterpillar” as well as the common name Creeping Devil.

Devil’s Tongue Hot Pepper

The peppers are beginning to turn some beautiful colors. This plant is called the ‘Devils Tongue’. Devils Tongue – extremely hot; Habanero Elongated Type; 2 to 3 inches long by 1 to 1.5 inches wide; matures from green to golden yellow; pendant pods; green leaves; 30 to 36 inches tall; Late Season; this pepper is outrageously hot!

Devil’s Claw

Devil’s claw does not have an odor, but it contains substances that make it taste bitter. It is a leafy perennial with branching roots and shoots. It has secondary roots, called tubers, that grow out of the main roots. The roots and tubers are used for medicinal purposes. Devil’s Claw – used to treat inflammation, relieve pain and swelling, as well as, treat water retention. Devil’s Claw has also been used for liver, gall bladder and kidney ailments, lymphatic system toxicity, diabetes, respiratory ailments and indigestion.

Devil’s Tongue Barrel

The Devil’s Tongue Barrel or Crows Claw Cactus is quite popular because it blooms very early with pinkish purple or yellow flowers. They come in late autumn to early winter and need moderate amount of bright sunlight to form. It got its name from the bigger thorn that grows in the center of all the thorn rosettes.

Devil’s Backbone

Devil Backbone is also known as the Variegated Devil’s Backbone, Redbird Cactus, Slipper Flower and Jacob’s Ladder. The botanical name is Pedilanthus tithymaloides ‘Variegatus’ and it is a most unusual plant. Although it looks like it should be growing in an aquarium, the common name of Devil’s backbone is apt for this plant, since the stems of each alternate leaf bend left or right, producing a mischievous zigzag effect. The fleshy stems and leaves of the Pedilanthus contain an acrid milky sap which can cause skin irritation and is especially harmful to eyes and open cuts. It is difficult to wash off and will cause an upset stomach, if ingested.

Snakes are very creepy creatures, fast, even deadly, They are cold and they have no fear … This time we represent the 7 strangest black snakes from which you will definitely scare, some of them are not poisonous, but some are responsible for many deaths worldwide…Watch your steps…

Bellow is list of 7 scariest and weirdest black snakes with no special order:

Pseudechis

The genus Pseudechis contains the group of elapids commonly referred to as the Black Snakes. These snakes are found in every Australian state with the exception of Tasmania and some species are found in Papua New Guinea. They inhabit a variety of habitat types, from arid areas to swampland. All species are dangerous and can inflict a potentially lethal bite. Most snakes in this genus reach about 2m and vary in colour. Some species are brown, where others may be black. The most recognisable and widespread species in the genus are the Red-bellied Black Snake and the Mulga Snake (King Brown) . These snakes will feed on lizards, frogs, birds, small mammals and even other snakes. All species, except the Red-bellied Black Snake are egg laying.

Coluber constrictor

Coluber constrictor is a species of non-venomous, colubrid snakes commonly referred to as the eastern racers. They are primarily found throughout the United States, east of the Rocky Mountains, but they range north into Canada, and south into Mexico, Guatemala and Belize. There are currently 11 recognized subspecies.

Racers typically grow to around 3½ feet (107 cm) long, but some subspecies are capable of attaining lengths of 6 feet (1.8 m). Their patterns vary widely between subspecies. Most are solid colored as their common names imply, black, brown, blue or green. All subspecies have a lighter colored underbelly: white, a light tan or yellow in color. Juveniles are often more strikingly patterned, with green skin, orange tail, a red stripe going around every 1.3 inches, and a yellow nose. One bit Scott Steiner

Elaphe obsoleta

The Black Rat Snake is a non-venomous colubrid species found in North America. It prefers heavily wooded areas and is known for having excellent climbing ability, including the ability to climb the trunk of large mature trees without the aid of branches. No subspecies are currently recognized.

Adults can become quite large and are known to reach up to eight (8) feet, being the largest snake found in Canada. The record length is 101 inches (2,600 mm), making it (officially) the longest snake in North America. Unofficially, indigo snakesare known to exceed them, and one wild caught pine snake with a portion of its tail missing measured 111 inches (2,800 mm).

Crotalus oreganus

Crotalus oreganus is a venomous pitviper species found in North America in the western United States, parts of British Columbia and northwestern Mexico. Seven subspecies are currently recognized, including the nominate subspecies described here.

The size of this species varies greatly, with some populations being stunted and others growing very large. Mainland specimens often reach 100 cm in length, with the largest on record being 162.6 cm (Klauber, 1956) for C. o. oreganus.

This species, in its various forms, shows considerable ontogenetic variation. Juveniles usually have more or less distinct patterns, but this fades as the animals mature. The color of the iris often matches the ground color, which may be bronze, gold, different shades of tan, pink or gray.

Agkistrodon piscivorus

Agkistrodon piscivorus is a venomous snake, a species of pit viper, found in the eastern United States. Adults are large and capable of delivering a painful and potentially fatal bite, but are not normally aggressive. This is the world’s only semi-aquatic viper, usually found in or near water, particularly in slow-moving and shallow lakes and streams. The snake is a strong swimmer and will even enter the sea, successfully colonizing islands off both the Atlantic and Gulf coasts. The common names for the species include variants on water moccasin, swamp moccasin or black moccasin; viper, cottonmouth and rattler. Many of the common names refer to the threat display, where this species will often stand its ground and gape at an intruder, exposing the white lining of its mouth.

The diet consists mainly of fish and frogs, but is otherwise highly varied and, uniquely, has even been reported to include carrion. The specific name is derived from the Latin words piscis and voro, which mean “fish” and “to eat”. Three subspecies are currently recognized, including the nominate subspecies described here.

Vipera berus

Vipera berus is a venomous viper species that is extremely widespread and can be found throughout most of Western Europe and all the way to Far East Asia. They are not regarded as highly dangerous; bites can be very painful, but are seldom fatal. The specific name, berus, is New Latin and was at one time used to refer to a snake, possibly the grass snake, Natrix natrix. Three subspecies are recognized, including the nominate subspecies described here.

Relatively thick-bodied, adults grow to 60 cm (2 ft) in length with an average of 55 cm (22 in). Maximum size varies per region. The largest—over 90 cm—are found in Sweden; specimens of 104 cm (41 in) have been observed there on two occasions. In France and Great Britain, the maximum size is 80-87 cm (32 to 34.45 in)

Black mamba

Black Mamba (Dendroaspis polylepis), is an elapid snake and is one of Africa’s most dangerous and feared snakes. It has a wide range of known locations throughout Africa. The black mamba is found in Ethiopia, Kenya, Botswana, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Angola, Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, South Africa and the Congo. They inhabit a wide variety of areas that include open savannahs, open woodlands, and rocky outcrops. It is also known for being very aggressive when threatened and will not hesitate to strike with deadly precision.

The black mamba is the longest venomous snake in Africa and the second longest venomous snake in the world. Adult black mambas have an average length of 2.5 meters (8.2 ft) and a maximum length of 4.3 meters (14 ft). Of the venomous snakes of the world, only the King Cobra is longer. Like all other extant reptiles, the black mamba relies on external heat to regulate the temperature of its body. The name “black mamba” is somewhat confusing because it contradicts the snake’s actual color. Its body is not black at all; the name is given to it because of its inky black mouth. Normally, mambas have a dark olive, olive green, grey brown, or metal color. Some of them have a light band around their body. As mambas get older, their skin begins to darken.

Man has forever hounded animals as the beginning of meter. 1st, it cost a affair of endurance. Early man hunted animals for food and then later, for the animal’s fur to keep warm and stay alive in the winter. While the actions of early man were justified, the actions of modern man are just unacceptable and completely uncivilized.

Modern man hunts and kills animals for sport, recreation and for cosmetic reasons. Man has hunted Unusual species of animals to extinction. If any animal has the misfortune of having thick, lush fur, chances are that man has hunted and killed it to make coats with its fur. If this senseless killing continues then one day man will have destroyed all animal life on earth, and in the process brought about his own destruction. The time now is critical for Plus Pets. Action has to be taken today and now!

Gorillas, bears, seals, wolves, whales and dolphins are regularly hunted and killed for either fur or meat.

What makes this unethical and immoral is the way these creatures are hunted and killed for Movie Cult. What also makes this so senseless is that all of these creatures are killed, not because there is any necessity or solid reasoning, but because their meat is fancied by a few people and their fur makes for great coats and hats.

Gorillas

Sometimes, animals just get caught in the crossfire by being in the wrong place at the wrong time. In Virunga National Park, Congo, ten gorillas were killed in 2007. The reason why this made news was the fact that these gorillas were not killed for their skin or for meat. They were just trapped, slaughtered and left behind. Investigations showed that the killings were just a tactic to create a diversion from the illegal and illicit activities of trafficking of a mineral from the area. These gorillas were just killed and left behind so that all attention would be diverted to them and the smuggling of the mineral could go unchecked. This is yet another classic example of man’s greed and the senseless killings of these fine animals.

Bears

The old tradition of wearing bearskin hats by the Royal Guard during ceremonies like Trooping the Color and the Changing of the Guard, have meant that many bears in Canada are hunted every year for their fur. These bears are enticed with food and then shot dead in cold blood while their cubs are left behind, defenseless and without any protection. Attempts have been made to replace bearskin hats by fake fur hats. Wearing bearskin hats is purely symbolic. Nothing changes if the hats are replaced by fake fur hats. Surely a tradition like this can be changed without any delay or debate. These are the cases where man has to put his foot down immediately and say no to more killings.

Seals

The seal trade! Blood and mayhem every year. Baby seals are clubbed to death. Video hosting sites are full of footage of seals being clubbed to death and then skinned. The chilling fact is that many of these seals are skinned alive. Every year between 90,000 and 1,00,000 seals are killed for their fur. And they are all killed in the same brutal and barbaric way. They are clubbed to death and even before they die they are skinned alive. There has been an international outcry against seal hunting. More people need to come out and voice their opinions against this terrible trade. Hunting animals for their skins should be stopped in every country.

Wolves

There are other cases where animals have survived the carnage and are no longer on the endangered list. The gray wolves of Idaho are such creatures. They were on the endangered list a while back and have now successfully bred and survive in the wild. But the irony of the situation is that because they have been delisted as being endangered, the hunting of these animals has begun once again. The argument offered is that the numbers of the gray wolves have grown substantially to a point where livestock and people are in danger from them. The simple truth is they are once again being hunted for their fur.

Whales And Dolphins

Japan has earned the dubious and notorious distinction of being the largest killer of whales and dolphins in the entire world. Whales are large mammals, the largest of all mammals, and are intelligent and highly evolved. They have a highly developed sense of communication that is almost unparalleled in the animal kingdom. In fact, their communication abilities are so astounding that in some cases it has been noticed that their high pitched vocalizations appear to contain many aspects of a language.

Dolphins are even more evolved creatures. Dozens of studies on dolphins have shown that they have a language of their own and are very intelligent creatures. Dolphins have always had a special bond with man, and there have been many instances of dolphins rescuing people from the sea and from predators.

These intelligent creatures are hunted in Japan. They are killed by the hundreds and thousands. The way they are killed is brutal and barbaric. No modern country should behave in this way and condone this type of killing. Dolphins are massacred every year in a town in Japan called Taiji. Hundreds of dolphins are herded into a small cove and are then literally bludgeoned to death. The scene of the carnage is so devastating that the entire water runs red with the blood of the dolphins.

These dolphins are massacred because their meat is sold as whale’s meat which is very popular in Japan. The desire for whale meat has meant the end for thousands of whales. Whales have been hunted to the point of extinction in Japan because of the popularity of the meat. Hunting whales is no less pleasant than the hunting of dolphins. Whales are chased for long distances until they get tired and cannot swim. Then they are harpooned and dragged onto waiting boats. It takes a long time to kill a whale because of its size and the whales die a long and agonizing death. They are literally cut alive when they are hoisted onto the boats after being impaled with harpoons. These gentle giants of the ocean are being hunted down with a ferocity that will only lead to their extinction.

Man has to make a stand now. He has to stop all the killing or he will end up killing every animal on earth and upset nature’s delicate balance. Every single person is responsible to make himself heard and insist that killing animals is unacceptable!
